Every week students are encouraged to participate in a complete programme of activities to develop their interests
SGI's theme-based approach means that students improve their ability to communicate in a variety of contexts. Students learn faster and more successfully when they use English all the time during the programme. We encourage consistent use of English throughout the day and the excursions are the perfect opportunity to practise.
As unique individuals, students are encouraged to use what they have learnt during the lessons when they are visiting places of interest. Our exciting full and half-day trips are designed with this in mind. Lesson time is dedicated to developing language that is then used in the real life situations at the fun and interesting locations around London and elsewhere.
Students aged 6 - 9 enjoy an excursion on Wednesdays to places such as Madame Tussaud's, Kidzania, London Zoo and Thorpe Park.
Students aged 10 - 17 explore places of interest in London on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and have a full-day excursion on Saturdays, taking in places such as Oxford, Bath, Cambridge, Brighton, Windsor Castle and Canterbury.
